    List of Ingredients


    • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
    • 1 1/2 cups sugar
    • 2 T. light brown sugar
    • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
    • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
    • 2 cups whipping cream
    • 4 cups cubed, crumble French bread
    • 3/4 cup raisins (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Combine first 4 ingredients, stir in butter, whipping cream. Stir in bread and raisins. Pour into a lightly greased 2 quart deep baking dish. Bake at 375 for 50 minutes, after 30 minutes cover with aluminum foil to prevent overbaking. Serve warm with vanilla sauce.
