Vanilla Sauce
This is also very good with the bread pudding
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 T. light brown sugar
- 1 T. flour
- Dash of nutmeg
- 1 large egg
- 2 T. butter
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 T. vanilla extract
Instructions
- Whisk first 7 ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium to low heat whisking constantly, about 12 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Serve warm over bread pudding.
