    Vanilla Sauce
    This is also very good with the bread pudding


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 c. sugar
    • 3 T. light brown sugar
    • 1 T. flour
    • Dash of nutmeg
    • 1 large egg
    • 2 T. butter
    • 1 c. whipping cream
    • 1 T. vanilla extract


    Instructions


    1. Whisk first 7 ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium to low heat whisking constantly, about 12 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Serve warm over bread pudding.
