    EVELYN'S QUICK CARAMEL COFFEE RING

    She always makes this when we are out camping and there are NEVER any leftovers.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup margarine (1 stick)
    • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
    • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    • 2 teaspoons water
    • 2 or 3 tubes Hungry Jack flacky biscuits (3 makes the coffee cake higher)


    Instructions


    1. Grease the bottom of a bundt pan with butter. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons nuts on bottom of pan
    2. Bring to a boil the margarine, rest of nuts, sugar and water. Cut biscuits in half and pinch ends. Put 1 tube in bottom of pan. Drizzle1/2 (1/3 if you are using 3 tubes) of the syrup over the biscuits. Repeat with the second tube of biscuits, and repeat with third tube if using.
    3. Bake until brown on top 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Invert on pie pan.
