    MAKE AHEAD EGG CASSEROLE

    Make this the night before.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups croutons
    • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded chedder cheese
    • 4 to 6 eggs
    • 2 cups milk
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
    • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    • Dash of pepper
    • 6 slices bacon, fried, drained and crumbled (OR 1/4 pound sausage cooked and drained Or several slices of ham, diced)


    Instructions


    1. Place croutons and cheese in bottom of a greased 9 inch square Pan. Combine the eggs, milk and seasonings. Pour over the croutons. Sprinkle with the bacon, sausage, or ham. Cover. Set in the refrigerator over night. The next morning let sit at room temperature for about 1/2 hour, but no big deal if you forget. Just bake a little longer. Remove cover and bake at 325 degrees for one hour until set. Makes six servings.
