Recipe Introduction
I halved this recipe and used real eggs. Could not find Canadian Bacon so used chopped ham.
List of Ingredients
2 tubes (4 ounces) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
3 cartons (8 ounces each) frozen egg substitute, thawed *
7 ounces Canadian Bacon
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded chedder cheese
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms (can use canned)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Arrange biscuits in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, pour over biscuits. Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife inserted near teh center comes out clean. Yield 12 servings.
I used real eggs and since I cut the recipe in half used 6 eggs. 1/4 cup=one egg.
Also used only one tube of biscuits but kept other ingredients the same.
