    LAKE MEAD BASS


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pounds fillet of Bass
    • 1 can French onion soup
    • 2 cups Uncle Bens instant rice
    • salt and pepper
    • 2 strips bacon
    • 1/2 teaspoon thyme


    Instructions


    1. Fry strips of bacon in skillet ( could use 1 Tablespoon of bacon fat) When crisp, remove and swish fat around bottom of pan. Place fillets in pan and brown on each side. Add can of French onion soup and cover skillet and simmer 5 minutes. Add water and seasonings. Let come to a boil. Add the rice and cover. Let rest 5 minutes.
