    EVELYN'S CHICKEN DIVAN

    Recipe Introduction


    I got this from a dear friend.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can water chestnuts (sliced and drained)
    • 2 cups cooked diced chicken or turkey
    • 2 10 ounce bags of broccoli
    • 6 ounces shredded sharp chedder cheese
    • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • salt, pepper and curry powder to taste
    • 1 cup or more of Pepperidge Farm stuffing cubes (any brand will do)
    • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine


    Instructions


    1. Put cooked and drained broccoli in buttered 9 x 13 buttered casserole dish. top with the chicken and drained water chestnut. Mix the mayonnaise, soup, and spices and pour over the top of chicken. top with the shredded cheese.

    2. Saute the stuffing cubes in butter and place on top of cheese.

    3. Bake 350 degrees until bubbley. 30 to 40 minutes.
