    This is a good light quick meal!

    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg (16oz) linguine or thin spaghetti
    1-4 garlic cloves, minced
    1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
    1/2 pound fully cooked ham slices, cut into 1/2 in strips
    1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 cup minced fresh parsley.

    Cook pasta according to package directions.

    Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute garlic in oil for one minute. Add walnuts; saute for two minutes. Stir in ham; cook until heated through, about two minutes

    Drain pasta; toss with ham mixture. Sprinle with Parmesan cheese and parsley.

    4 to 6 servings

    My note: instead of sprinkling the cheese on top I mixed it in to the ham and pasta. I also used about half shredded cheese and parmesan.
