    GARDEN FRESH SALAD

    This is from Country magazine and was submitted by Donna Hess.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 bunch leaf lettuce, torn
    • 2 cups packed torn spinach
    • 1 cup cubed mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 cup sliced celery
    • 6 fresh mushrooms, sliced
    • 5 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
    • 1 tomato, sliced
    • DRESSING
    • 1 cup vegetable oil
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1/4 cup vinegar
    • 1/4 cup minced onion
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tablespoon ketchup
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt


    Instructions


    1. In a large bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Chill. Combine the dressing ingredients; Just before serving, pour over salad and toss.
    2. Don't pour all of the dressing on the salad at once. Use only enough to coat.
