    HAMBURGER AND VEGETABLE SOUP


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1 cup chopped onion
    • 2 cans of beef broth
    • 2 (15 ounces) cubed tomatoes)
    • 1 cup sliced carrots
    • 1 cup sliced celery
    • 1 cup cubed, peeled potatoes
    • 3 tablespoons barley or rice
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 garlic clove, minced


    Instructions


    1. In a large saucepan or Dutch oven brown beef. Drain. Add the onion and cook until tender. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 45 to 60 minutes.
