    1 LARGE EGG 8 TBS (1 STICK) BUTTER, MELTED
    1- CUP SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS

    PALACE A RACK IN THE CENTER OF THE OVEN AND PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 350°F. SET A SIDE A 13 X9” BAKING PAN.
    2. PLACE THE CAKE MIX, EGGS, AND MELTED BUTTER IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL. BLEND WITH AN ELECTRIC MIXER ON LOW SPEED UNTIL THE INGRED. ARE MOISTENED, 1 MINUTE. STOP AND SCRAPE DOWN THE SIDES. ADD THE CHIPS AND BLEND ON LOW ANOTHER 30 SEC. JUST TO INCORPORATE. THE MIXTURE WILL BE VERY THICK.
    3. SCRAPE THE BATTER INTO THE UNGREASED PAN. USING A FOR OR YOUR FINGER TIPS, PRESS THE BATTER OUT EVENLY OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN SO THAT IT REACHES ALL THE SIDE. PLACE THE PAN IN THE OVEN.
    4. BAKE THE CAKE UNTIL IT IS GOLDEN BROWN AND A TOOTHPICK INSERTED IN THE CENTER COMES OUT WITH A FEW CRUMBS ON IT, 20 TO 25 MINUTES. REMOVE THE PAN FROM THE OVEN AND PLACE ON A WIRE RACK TO COOL FOR 30 MINUTES BEFORE CUTTING INTO SQUARES AND SERVING.
