    List of Ingredients


    • 3 sticks butter or margarine
    • 1- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    • 3 c. sugar
    • 6 eggs
    • 3 c. plain flour
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 tsp. almond flavoring
    • Icing**
    • 2 c. powdered sugar
    • 1/2 c. Crisco
    • 4 tbsp. canned milk
    • 1 tbsp. flavoring
    • (Beat until smooth)


    Instructions


    1. Cream together butter and cream cheese, blending in sugar.
    2. Add eggs, one at a time and continue to blend.
    3. Add flavorings and flour; blend until smooth.
    4. Do not overbeat!!
    5. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan.
    6. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until cake tests done.
    7. Make frosting as above and add to cooled cake.
