    Peanut Butter Candies

    Source of Recipe

    The Tampa Tribune 01/02

    List of Ingredients

    1 can ready-to-spread vanilla frosting

    1 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened

    2 cups graham cracker crumbs

    1 can desired flavor frosting

    Recipe

In a large bowl, combine vanilla frosting, peanut butter and butter with a fork until well-blended.

Stir in graham cracker crumbs and mix well. Form into 1-inch balls; chill 1 hour.

In a small saucepan, melt other can of frosting over low heat. Stir occasionally.

Dip chilled peanut butter balls in the melted frosting, allowing excess to drip off. Place on a cooling rack over wax paper. Let stand at room temperature until dry, about 6 hours.

Makes about 48 to 52 bonbons.

Note: As frosting thickens, reheat. Use any leftover frosting to dip dried fruit or nut halves.
