    Peppermint Fudge

    List of Ingredients





    3/4 cup margarine

    3 cups sugar

    2/3 cup evaporated milk

    One 12-ounce package vanilla chips

    One 7-ounce jar of marshmallow

    creme

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    1/2 teaspoon peppermint flavor

    (optional)

    1 cup crushed peppermint stick

    Recipe




    Grease a 13- by 9-inch pan. Mix margarine, sugar and milk in 2 1/2- or 3-quart sauce pan. Bring to a full, rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling and stirring for five minutes or until candy thermometer inserted into mixture reaches 234 degrees.

    Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Pour into pan and cool at room temperature. Cut into squares and serve or package to ship.
