    Lemon Grape-Nut Pudding

    List of Ingredients




    1/4 cup soft butter
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 eggs separated
    2 tablespoons flour
    3/4 cup milk
    1/3 cup grape-nuts
    Grated rind and juice of 1/2 lemon

    Recipe



    Cream butter and blend with sugar. Add well-beaten egg yolks, flour, milk and grape-nuts, mix well and stir in lemon rind and juice. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in lightly but thoroughly. Turn into buttered casserole and bake in a moderately slow oven (325 degrees F) until pudding is a rich golden brown, fom 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm with milk or cream. 5 servings.
