Strawberry Pizza
List of Ingredients
Crust:
2 sticks butter or margarine
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
2 cups flour
Glaze:
1 pint strawberries
4 tablespoons cornstarch
4 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon red food coloring
1 cup sugar
Filling:
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup confectioners' sugar
9 ounces whipped topping
1 pint strawberries
Whipped topping for garnish
Recipe
Mix crust ingredients and pat into a 14-inch pizza pan (dust flour on hands to keep from sticking to fingers). Prick with a fork. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.
Combine strawberries, cornstarch, water, vanilla, food coloring and sugar in blender to form glaze. Cook over medium heat until thick. Cool and reserve.
Mix cream cheese and confectioners' sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread cream cheese mixture on crust, then spread glaze on top.
To garnish: Slice berries on top of glaze and top with whipped topping.
