    Pork- Peking Pork

    List of Ingredients

2 (1/2 to 3/4 pound) whole pork tenderloins
    2 large garlic cloves, peeled
2 tablespoon peeled and chopped fresh ginger
    1/4 cup Beef Stock
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    3 tablespoons ketchup
    1 tablespoon molasses
1/2 teaspoon five spice powder (optional)
    1/4 cup honey
    1 cup sesame seeds

    Recipe

Place the tenderloins in a shallow glass dish. Put the garlic, ginger, stock, sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, molasses, and the five spice powder into a blender. Blend thoroughly. Pour the marinade over the meat. Cover and refriegerate for 4 to 6 hours, turning occasionally. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Bring the meat to room temperature and pat dry. Pour the honey on a plate. Roll the tenderloins in the honey. Sprinkle the sesame seeds on the meat, turning to coat evenly. Place the meat in a roasting pan. Bake in the oven for 1 hour or until juices run clear when pricked with a fork. Remove the meat from the oven to a carving board and let stand for several minutes before cutting in thin diagonal slices.
Serve with hot mustard, plum sauce, or Peach Chutney.
