    Makes about 1 cup

    List of Ingredients




    1 medium onion
    1 cup mayonnaise, preferably homemade
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    4 teaspoons red wine vinegar
    1 small garlic clove, minced
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon fresly ground white pepper

    Recipe



    1. In a food processor, puree the onion, Scrape the puree into a fine-mesh strainer set over a medium bowl. Using the back of a spoon, press the puree through the strainer to extract 2 tablespoon of juice. Discard the puree.
    2. Add the mayonnaise, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper to the onion juice. Whisk the dressing until thoroughly blended.
