Brown Gravy
List of Ingredients
4 tablespoons fat
4 tablespoon flour
2 cups stock or milk
Salt and Pepper
Recipe
If gravy is to be made in roasting pan, remove meat to serving platter and keep hot. Remove any fat beyond amount called for. Add flour and blend with remaining fat, browning carefully. Add stock gradually, stirring until thickened. Cook 5 minutes. Season. Makes 2 cups.
