Sweet and Sour Sauce

List of Ingredients




1/4 cup red wine vinegar

1/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons tomato sauce

2 tablespoons pineapple juice

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon cornstarch




Recipe



In a saucepan combine vinegar, sugar, tomato sauce, pineapple juice and salt.. Bring to a boil, stirring. Whisk cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to make a slurry and drizzle into sauce, whisking, until it thickens. Pour into a pretty bowl for serving.
