    Broccoli-Cheese Soup

    List of Ingredients




    1 (10-ounce) package frozen broccoli

    2 tablespoons margarine

    11/2 to 2 tablespoons flour

    1 cup evaporated milk

    1 can cream of chicken soup

    1 soup can of water

    1 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed

    1 tablespoon onion salt

    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    Pepper, to taste

    Recipe



    Cook broccoli according to package directions. Remove from heat, but do not drain.

    In a separate pan, make a white sauce by melting margarine and slowly adding flour. Continue stirring while gradually adding milk. Stir in soup, the soup can of water, cheese, onion salt, Worcestershire and pepper. Add broccoli and the water in which it was cooked. Mix; cook over medium to low heat until as thick as desired. Five minutes is usually enough. If mixture is too thick, add a little more water.
