    Recipe Introduction

    This easy but tasty recipe is a crock-pot "take off" of Beef Bourginone. Serve over noodles or rice if desired.

    List of Ingredients

    2 lbs stew beef cut into 1 inch cubes
    8 oz. of sliced mushrooms
    1 packet of Lipton Beefy Mushroom soup
    1/4 cup of red wine or red cooking wine
    1 10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup-undiluted
    1 lb. package of baby carrots
    *optional add 1/4 cup quick cooking tapioca

    Recipe

    Place beef in bottom of crockpot, then add vegetables. In a bowl wisk together soups and wine, adding tapioca if desired. Pour over beef mixture. Cook on High heat for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
