    This tasty salad is wonderful for potlucks.

    List of Ingredients




    1 10 oz. package of frozen mixed vegetables
    1 15 oz can kidney beans, rinse and drain
    1/2 cup chopped celery
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup cider vinegar
    1 tablesp. cornstarch

    Recipe



    Cook mixed vegetables per package directions until just tender-crisp. Drain well. Place in a large bowl, add other vegetables.
    Combine the sugar and vinegar in a small saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, Gradually stir in cornstarch Stir till thickens slightly. Cool till just warm Pour overe vegetables. Chill in refrigerator.at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
