These are so good on a Boars Head hot dog! I don't like store bought hot dog onions, but Heath's are amazing!!


List of Ingredients




1 large onion, sliced to your liking (not too thin or thick)
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
hot sauce, to your taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
pinch of oregano
dash of onion powder
dash of salt
dash of sugar

Recipe



Combine all ingredients in small saucepan. Add enough water to just cover the onions. Simmer on a medium flame until the onions are tender and the sauce has thickened, about 20 minutes. May be stored several days in the refrigerator.
