Butter Pecan Squares

Recipe Introduction
JoAnn has had these for years as a Christmas cookie. I don't make them every year because I'll eat them all. They are that good.
List of Ingredients
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. brown sugar, fully packed
1/2 c. butter (no substitutions)
.Recipe
Mix together and pat into a 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle with 1 to 1/4 c. chopped pecans.
In small saucepan cook 2/3 c. butter and 1/2 c. brown sugar
until bubbly. Cool slightly, then pour over crust in pan.
Let sit at least 20 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut into squares while still slightly warm.
