    Cinnamon Buns

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Package (1.5 oz.) rapid-rise yeast
    • 3/4 C Half and Half, warmed to 110 F
    • 7 T brown sugar, divided
    • 3 C Flour, divided
    • 1 Egg
    • 2 T olive oil
    • 1 T Ground cinnamon
    • 5 T Butter
    • 5 T Chopped walnuts
    • 5 T Powdered sugar
    • 1 T Maple syrup


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

    2. Dissolve yeast in the half-and-half.

    3. Stir 4 T sugar into flour.

    4. Beat flour, egg, oil and yeast mixture 7 minutes.

    5. Let rise 30 minutes.

    6. Knead 3 minutes.

    7. Roll into 1/2" thick rectangle.

    8. Mix cinnamon, butter, remaining sugar and nuts.

    9. Spread cinnamon mixture on dough.

    10. Roll dough into log.

    11. Cut 1 1/2" rolls.

    12. Let rise for 30 minutes in greased muffin tins.

    13. Bake 15 - 20 minutes.

    14. Whisk together the last 2 ingredients. Pour over the warm cinnamon buns.

    15. Serve warm. Makes 10 servings.
