    List of Ingredients




    1 round steak, about 2 lbs.
    1/2 tsp. salt (or garlic salt)
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 Tblsp. shortening
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tblsp. celery seed
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    4 Tblsp. brown sugar
    4 Tblsp. prepared mustard
    3 Tblsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tblsp. lemon juice
    1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup

    Recipe



    Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Melt shortening in heavy skillet; brown steak with onion, celery seed, and garlic. Add remaining ingredients; simmer, covered, for 1-1/2 hours. Check after 45 minutes; add a little water, if necessary, and stir. Yield: 6 servings.
