    "World's Greatest Dill Pickle"

    List of Ingredients

    5 quarts of cucumbers, quartered and sliced long way
    1 large white onion
    4-6 minced garlic cloves or 3/4 teas. garlic powder
    1/2 teas. mustard seed
    4-6 eads of dill

    6 C. water
    2 C. white vinegar
    1/2 C. canning salt


    Out the dill in a pail such as a plastic ice cream container. Stand the cucumber spears on end. Spread onions, garlic and mustard seed over the top.

    Boil the brine mixture and pour boiling mixture over the cucumbers. Let the container stand uncovered for three days. Then cover and refridgerate for up tp a year.
