ABM BUTTERMILK DILL BREAD

Yield: 1-1/2 lbs. (16 slices)
1-1/4 c. warm 1% buttermilk (70-F to 80-F)
2 T. stick margarine, softened
2 T. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. dill weed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp white pepper
3 c. bread flour
2-1/4 tsp. active dry yeast
In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 T. of water or flour if needed)
EDITOR’S NOTE: Warmed buttermilk will appear curdled. If your bread machine has a time-delay feature, we recommend that you DO NOT use it for this recipe.
