    Basic Honey Wheat Bread

    Slice into 12 slices.

    1-1/2 cup lukewarm water
    2 Tbsp. canola oil
    2 Tbsp. honey
    3-1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    3 Tbsp. vital wheat gluten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. instant dry yeast
    1 tsp. dough enhancer

    Pour liquid ingredients in bread machine container first. Place dry ingredients in the container with the yeast on top. Place container in bread machine and process according to instructions.

    (If dough rises too high, reduce water to 1-1/4 cup or less). This recipe makes slightly less than a 1-1/2 pound loaf. Each slice is equivalent to about 2 slices of standard bread.
