    Yield: 1 loaf (1-1/2 lbs. – 16 slices

    1/ c. + 2 T. water (70º-80º)
    1/2 c. warm buttermilk (70º-80º)
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 T. stick margarine, softened
    2 T. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. bread flour
    2-1/4 tsp. active dry yeast

    In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 T. of water or flour if needed). ++Timer feature not recommended for this recipe
