    Cajun Bread (1-Pound Recipe)

    Yield: "1 Loaf" (12 slices)


    1/2 cup water (70º to 80º)
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
    1 clove garlic -- finely chopped
    2 teaspoons stick margarine -- softened
    2 cups bread flour
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 teaspoon Cajun or Creole seasoning
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon bread machine yeast

    Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.

    Select Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Do not use delay cycles. Remove baked bread from pan and cool on wire rack.
