    Four-Herb Bread

    Yield: 1 loaf…16 slices

    1-1/4 c. water (70º-80º)
    2 T. stick margarine, softened
    3 c. bread flour
    2 T. nonfat dry milk powder
    2 T. sugar
    1 T. minced chives
    1 T. fresh marjoram…or…1 tsp. dried marjoram
    1 T. minced fresh thyme…or…1 tsp. dried thyme
    2 tsp. minced fresh basil…or…1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. active dry yeast.

    In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 T. of water or flour if needed).
