    Pear Dessert Squares

    1-1/2 lbs. pears. Sliced
    3 T. flour. ‘divided’
    1/4 c. unsweetened apple juice concentrate
    3/4 c. reduced-fat graham cracker crumbs (about 10 squares)
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    Dash Ground nutmeg
    3 T. ‘cold’ stick margarine
    1/2 c. reduced-fat whipped topping
    Additional ground cinnamon

    In a bowl, toss the pears, 1 T. flour and apple juice concentrate. Spoon into an 8-in. square baking pan coated with nonstick cooking spray. In a bowl, combine crumbs, cinnamon, nutmeg and remaining 2 T. flour. Cut in ‘cold’ margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over pears.

    Bake at 375º for 30 minutes or until pears are tender and topping is lightly browned. Sere: warm or chilled. Cut into squares; top with whipped topping and cinnamon.
