    Beef: Broiled Flank Steak

    Low-Fat & Light Four Ingredient Cookbook – Coffee & Cale
    Broiled flank Steak
    Plan ahead…needs to marinate overnight.
    Serves: 8

    3/4 c. dry red wine
    1-1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
    1 tsp. garlic, minced
    1-1/2 lbs. lean beef flank steak

    Combine first 3 ingredients. Place flank steak in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish; pour in marinade. Turn to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator overnight. Remove from marinade and let steak return to room temperature. Discard marinade
    Coat broiler rack with nonstick cooking spray; place steak on rack. Broil 3-4 inches from heat for 5-7 minutes on each side. Slice steak across grain into thin slices to serve.

    One 3-oz. serving equals: 155 calories…6 gm fat (2.7 gm saturated)…144.7 mg sodium…17.6 gm protein…0.5 gm carbohydrate…43 mg cholesterol…0 fiber +++WWP:4
