    Garlic & Hot Pepper Marinade -- e

    "Diabetic Low-fat & No Fat Meals in Minutes" - M.J. Smith, R.D.
    Garlic & Hot Pepper Marinade
    Yield: 1-1/2 cups

    2 T. vegetable oil
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    2 T. chopped jalapeno peppers
    1 T. low-sodium chicken-flavored instant bouillon
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
    2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vegetable broth

    Combine all ingredients in a shaker container. Refrigerate for up to 3 months. Use with pork chops, chicken or turkey fillets, or with fajita cuts of meat.

    1-1/2 Tablespoons marinade equals: 35 calories...4 gm fat...0 protein...1 gm carbohydrate...0 cholesterol...60 mg sodium ++++ Exchanges: 1 fat
