    Curried Turkey Salad Sandwiches -- w
    No carbohydrate levels available
    Plan ahead…needs to chill for at least 2 hours
    Serves: 6

    2 c. diced cooked turkey breast (about 10 oz.)
    1 medium tart apple, chopped (about 1 cup)
    1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
    1/4 c. golden raisins
    1/3 c. nonfat sour cream
    1/3 c. Kraft Free mayonnaise (nonfat)
    3/4 tsp. curry powder OR curry paste or more to taste
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    6 lettuce leaves
    3 whole wheat pita pockets (2 oz., each), cut in half
    1-1/8 c. alfalfa sprouts

    In a medium bowl, combine the first 3 ingredients; toss to mix well. Combine the next 4 ingredients in a small bowl; mix well. Add sour cream to turkey mixture; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

    To assemble sandwiches: Place 1 lettuce leaf in each pocket. Fill with 1/2 c. turkey mixture and some sprouts. Serve immediately.

    Nutritional Analysis: One 1/2 pita pocket serving equals: 195 calories…1 gm fat…18 gm protein…40 mg cholesterol…3 gm fiber…18 gm protein +++WWP: 3
