    Yield: 6 servings.

    1 pound carrots -- scraped and diagonally sliced
    1/2 cup chopped celery
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup dry white wine
    2 tablespoons stick margarine
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed

    Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
