    Buttery Garlic Bread

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    • 4 cloves garlic, pressed
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 (16-oz.) Italian bread loaf, cut into 8 (1-1/2-inch) slices
    • 1-1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium-high heat; add the pressed garlic cloves and salt. Saute 2 minutes.

    2. Dip the bread slices into the butter mixture, coating both sides. Place on a baking sheet.

    3. Stir together the Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese; sprinkle on one side of each bread slice. Broil 5 inches from heat for 4 minutes or until cheese melts.

      Makes 8 slices.
