    Easy Short Ribs

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 lbs. beef short ribs
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
    • 1 cup catsup
    • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup white vinegar
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
    • 2 tsp salt


    Instructions


    1. In a soup pot, brown the ribs on all sides over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 1 hour; drain.

    2. In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; mix well and pour over the ribs. Cover and cook for 1-1/2 hours, or until the beef is tender, stirring occasionally.

      Makes 4 to 6 servings.
