    Brunch Casserole

    This recipe was submitted to the GEHS Blazer Booster Cookbook by my sister,Lois and her daughter Julie.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 c. bread,cubed
    • 3 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
    • 12 eggs, beaten
    • 1 qt. milk
    • 1 tsp. dry mustard
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1 green pepper, diced
    • 1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
    • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
    • 1 c. diced tomatoes


    Instructions


    1. Prepare the night before and allow to stand 12 to 24 hours before baking.
    2. Grease 9x13 casserole. Lay bread crumbs in the bottom.Sprinkle with cheese.
    3. Beat together eggs, seasonings, and onion. Sprinkle remaining ingredients on top.
    4. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Check at 45 minutes and cover with foil if casserole is geting too brown.
