Apple Cobbler

List of Ingredients
- 7 cups (8 medium) cored, peeled & sliced Granny Smith apples
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar, divided
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour, divided
- 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (1stick) cold butter or margarine, cut into pieces
- Whipped topping or ice cream (optional)
Instructions
- Toss apple slices with 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup
flour and place in container.
- In separate bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar
and remaining 1/2 cup flour. Cut in
butter or margarine with pastry blender
or whisk until crumbly; sprinkle over apple mixture. Cover.
- Microwave on high for 8 to 10 minutes or just until
apples are tender. Serve warm or cold with whipped
topping or ice cream.
