    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb original Bob Evans zesty sausage
    • 1 1/2 tsp. olive oil
    • 1/2 small diced spanish onion
    • 1 jalapeno pepper, diced and seeded
    • 1 1/2 cup beef broth
    • 1 cup fresh/canned diced tomatoes (peeled and seeded)
    • 1 cup tomatoe sauce
    • 1/2 T ground cummin
    • 1/2 T chili powder
    • 1/3 tsp. salt (sprinkle)


    Instructions


    1. Crumble and cook sausage in olive oil until no longer
    2. pink but not yet browned.
    3. Add onion and pepper and cook until onion is tender.
    4. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil in
    5. uncovered kettle, then simmer uncovered for 15 mins.
    6. Garnish with shredded cheese and crushed taco chips
    7. in individual bowls.


    Final Comments


    Great for cold days.
