    12 slices bacon, very finely chopped
    3 cups (750 ml) shredded Canadian Cheddar cheese
    1 pkg. (125 g) Canadian Cream Cheese, softened
    1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped nuts
    1/4 cup (50 mL) chopped parsley

    Recipe




    Cook bacon until crisp; drain well reserving 2 tbsp. (30 mL) drippings. Beat cheddar and cream cheese. Add reserved bacon drippings. Stir in cooked bacon bits. Shape into a ball; roll in chopped nuts and parsley. Wrap and chill several hours or overnight to blend flavors. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving.
