    Fresh Apple Cake

    List of Ingredients


    3–4 large cooking apples
    2/3 cup granulated sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 tablespoon flour
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine , melted
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1 box pillsbury French vanilla cake mix
    3 eggs
    1/3 cup cooking oil
    1 1/4 cups water

    Recipe

    1, Line a 9x13" cake pan with waxed paper; spray with cooking spray.

    2. Peel, core, and slice apples; arrange in bottom of prepared pan.

    3. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.

    4. Mix melted butter and lemon juice; drizzle over apples.

    5. Place dry cake mix, oil, eggs, and water in a large bowl and blend according to cake pkg. directions.

    6. Turn batter into pan and spread evenly over the apples.

    7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

    8. Turn out onto large serving dish or cookie sheet IMMEDIATELY; remove waxed paper.

    9. Can be eaten warm or cooled with whipped topping or ice cream.
