An easy pound cake from scratch is livened up with the addition of 7-Up soda pop. We sprinkled a little cinnamon and sugar over the top of the cake pictured, dressing it up a bit for the holidays. From Scratch

List of Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Butter
3 cups Sugar
5 Eggs
3 cups Flour
2 TB Lemon Extract
3/4 can 7-Up soda


Recipe

Oven Temp ~ 325°
Baking Time ~ 1 Hour & 15 minutes
Pan Type ~ 12 cup Bundt cake pan

Preheat oven, grease your pan.
Cream butter and sugar together for 20 minutes, or until a smooth blend is achieved. Add eggs one at a time, blending each egg into cake batter. Stir in the flour and lemon extract. Add in the 7-Up, pour 7-Up carefully and fold into the batter. Pour 7up cake batter into prepared pan. Bake-up delicious quick 7 up cake
