RED LOBSTER'S CHEESECAKE RECIPE

List of Ingredients


Crust:
10 oz. pkg. Lorna doone cookies, crushed
1/4 lb. melted butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 envelope Knox gelatin

Filling:
16 oz. cream cheese
8 oz, sour cream
2 eggs
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
crushed cookie crumbs for garnish



Recipe


Crust:
1. Mix crumbs with butter, sugar, and gelatin.
2. Pat out evenly over bottom of a greased 9" springform pan.
3. Bake at 350 deg for exactly 8 min.

Filling:
1. Beat with electric mixer: cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, butter, cornstarch, suger and vanilla.
2. When filling is perfectly smooth and creamy, pour into crust.
3. Return to 350 oven deg and bake 30-35 min. or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. Cool 20 min. before cutting.
5. Sprinkle top with cookie crumbs.
