    These are my very favorite Christmas Cookie. My Mom and I made them together for years. I still think of her every year when I make them and remember all the fun we had. Now my daughter and I bake them.

    List of Ingredients





    3/4 Pound Butter..........Has to be Real Butter
    4 Eggs
    1 C Granulated Sugar
    3 1/2 Cups Flour
    1 teaspoon Vanilla

    Mix well with mixer


    I take this dough and put it into about 12 small packets with wax paper and refrigerate it over night.
    Take out one packet at a time and roll in 10X sugar until very thin. Cut with cookie cutters and decorate.
    Bake at 350 until slightly brown.......you have to be careful because they burn easy. I usually make several cookie sheets full of cookies and then bake. It is almost impossible to bake and roll at the same time. They are a lot of work but melt in your mouth.
