    WOOER'S "SPAGHETTI ALA CROCK"

    List of Ingredients

    8 oz extra lean ground turkey (or beef)
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/4 tsp dried minced garlic
    1 3/4 cups (one 15 oz. can) Hunt's Tomato Sauce
    1 1/2 cups reduced-sodium tomato juice
    1 cup (or one 4 oz. can) sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    1 1/3 cups broken uncooked spaghetti
    1/4 cup grated Kraft fat-free parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    1) Brown the meat (it says to use olive-oil flavored cooking spray ... bah!)
    2) Coat crockpot with olive-oil flavored cooking spray
    3) Put everything in the crockpot, but put the spaghetti and parmesan in last
    4) Cover and cook on low for 4 hours
    5) Stir well before serving

    When I do it, I used fresh mushrooms, and I think just some basil and oregano for the Italian seasoning. It makes a really thick, baked form of spaghetti and it lasts a while. I really like this recipe, because you don't have to cook the pasta separately like all of the others I've seen.
