6 to 8 Oysters per person
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Bread crumbs, cracker crumbs or cornmeal
Recipe
Select firm and large Oysters for frying. Drain and Dry. combine eggs,
Milk, and seasonings. Dip Oysters 1 by 1 in Mixture and roll gently in crumbs,
Pating lighly. Fry in Deep Hot Shortening (375 Degrees F.) 3 to 5
minutes or until Golden Brown. Drain Serve with sliced Lemon.
